Breed KALINDI is the name of an Indian river. As the Bengal cat stems from the Asian Leopard Cat, and these are found amongst others in India, I chose the name KALINDI for my breeding prefix. I discovered this breed a few years ago on television and was immediately hooked. After a lot of research and a few visits to cat shows my determination not only to own but to breed these cats grew. My home I live with my husband and our three children in the beautiful Main-Kinzig-Kreis, 40 km from Frankfurt. All of our cats are dear to our heart and very much a part of the family. They move freely in our house, as we lay importance on cuddly, healthy and independent cats, that are used to everyday noises and happenings. Children who visit us are always thrilled by these 'wild' cats who want so much to play!
